Hagiwara International Piano School

I had the pleasure of creating this logo for an old friend of mine's mother. We grew up through elementary school together until his family decided that they needed to move back home to Japan. Over the years we have kept in touch and it was truly humbling when Yuko reached out to me all the way from Japan to create her a logo.

For this project I really wanted to create a simple iconic logo but give the fun feeling of music and piano lessons.To keep the traditional feel of piano i used a serif type face to help bring that feeling back into the logo without losing the fun aspect. We went with black and white to mimic the keys on a grand piano.
