Will Yanez

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Will back in 2012 by my good friend Frank Lucas. Will is a musician that is ready to take his craft and career to the next level. If he isn't rocking out on stage he is giving back to his community with after school programs teaching children how to play music. Today I consider him a friend and an all around great person to be around.

New Ideas For A Bright Future

Will and I have worked on his website prior to his latest version. We both can agree the old version was a little too amateur. Will wanted to showcase his new photography with his endorsements. He wanted to leave it simple, and quick to the point so recruiting labels and agencies didn't have difficulty finding out about him.

I was excited to talk with Will shortly after completing the project to find out he has had a great response to the new design. We knew L.A. was going to be tough competition so it is a great feeling knowing that the site has been received with complements.

A Look At The Site

Overall, the site is pretty simple and straight forward. In his "Media" section, visitors can play with a YouTube widget to view Will's latest video sessions. These videos are managed by will without having to access the HTML code. He also wanted to have his SoundCloud account attached where audio samples can be listened to by potential employers. There is an application that he can manage outside of the site, just like the YouTube widget, to update audio files and keep it up to date without having to access the HTML. You can visit Will and jam to his tunes!
