RR Donnelley Financial

During my contract with RR Donnelley, I partnered with internal creative teams to design and produce proxy statements, annual reports and environmental reports for a wide range of Fortune 500 clients, including Kraft Heinz, Procter & Gamble, American Airlines, Merck, Labcorp, Dominion Energy, Netflix, Fortive, Organon, Hexcel, TransMedics, PrimeSource, JFrog, Dorman, Ormat Technologies, Comstock and Seton Hall University. I created cover concepts, page layouts, info graphics and handled print production while maintaining each client's brand standards.

The work required a balance of creativity and precision. Each piece had to meet strict regulatory and brand standards while remaining clear and engaging. I managed multiple  fast paced projects at once, moving between concept development, layout and final production while maintaining consistency and a high level of accuracy.

Financial  and environmental documents come with heavy constraints in layout and content requirements. Deadlines are even tighter being tied to filing schedules. Each client had its own brand standards and many pages needed to be built in ways that could not rely on live text or flexible layouts. This meant designs had to hold up even when flattened into static formats.

My ultimate goal was to create clean, structured layouts that improved readability while staying fully compliant. Cover concepts explored visual directions that aligned with each client’s brand while still feeling fresh. Interior pages prioritized type hierarchy, spacing and organization so complex information could be quickly understood.

This experience strengthened my ability to design within challenging constraints while pushing to make an impact visually. It reinforced the importance of detail, agility and collaboration.
