Shred-it Data Protection Report

DPR Mocked Up_edited_edited.jpg

Shred-it’s Data Protection Report (DPR) is an annual research study by Stericycle that explores how businesses manage sensitive information and data security risks. It helps organizations understand evolving threats, improve compliance practices, and protect their customers and reputation through stronger information-security strategies.

In 2019, I was challenged to take the existing creative being done from one of our vendors and push the branding to be more exciting. After working on it, the report was determined to be pulled in house and every year after that I pushed the Shred-it brand to the next level.

The biggest challenge of this report is the amount of information that was being communicated. This left the task of customizing most of the page layouts. There were areas that consistency could be maintained like the table of contents, divider pages, charts, icons, and navigational elements. Without these the report would have not felt grounded into a system.

When it came time to activate the distribution plan, I designed infographics, animated social posts/ads, and developed an overview video. All of these assets were used to increase visibility of the report, encourage downloads and drive new sales leads.
